Deco Mania!

I haven't really been involved much in decos for the last year, due to a heavy work load, and anticipating a similar period of distraction, I decided to get a good batch made.

I had great fun making all these - in fact it was hard to stop! Now I can sit back and just enjoy swapping established decos for a few months while I settle into my new routine.

Another Birthday Card

Look, what is this? Kari has used a rubber stamp? Yes, I do own one or two and this one is great for backgrounds. If you think you have seen it before it is on the latest Tim Holtz DVD.

This is a card I made for Evie (Bread and Circuses) for her birthday. It was quite simple, acrylic washes on watercolour paper, rubber stamp and collaged elements.

The lace was essential as IMO Evie is the Queen of Lace.

Bird Egg ATCs

Most often we have an image in our head of the piece of art we are trying to create. Usually, we are disappointed when we cannot quite achieve it.

Occasionally, very occasionally, the opposite happens and what you produce is far better than you envisaged. Today, that actually happened for me - these are the resulting ATCs.

They are acrylic washes on watercolour paper, print and collaged eggs. I love them! I have one in particular that is my mm-mm favourite, do you?

Sorry, they are all spoken for.
